Sylvia graduated from the art academy in Breda. Since then she is working as a freelance illustrator and designer. She has worked on many projects, such as illustrations for magazines, greeting cards, children books and pattern design in fashion
and interior.

In addition to her commissioned work, she has started her own brand by-ST, artworks with an emphasis on her love for form and color.
